OHC is very excited to introduce our newest nurse to join our team.

Here is her story:

Hi ya’ll! My name is Hannah Padykula and I graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Nursing 2019. Nursing is actually my second degree! I attended Florida State University in 2018 and received a B.S. in Psychology with a focus in neuroscience! After all that lab work and research, I realized something was missing. Nursing was the answer! I fell in love with the profession and quickly couldn’t see myself doing anything else. I began to use research to help and to heal.

After graduating nursing school, I moved to Boston and began my nursing career in February 2020. My first year as a nurse has been in the midst of a global pandemic and it has been challenging, empowering, and motivating. I joined the OHC team to grow even more as a nurse and I am excited for what the future holds!

For fun, I love to cozy up with coffee and a book but I also love to spend time outside going for walks and enjoying the seasons (yes, even the snowy one!). My first time seeing snow was only about a year ago! It’s all still magical to this FL girl.

My advice to a new nurse would be to always ask questions/help! Also, keep in mind that everyone is experiencing something in their lives that we can’t understand so try not to take things too personally. At the end of the day, just do your best to provide comfort, support, and healing.
