Hallick and I share a love for a good margarita!

Here is his story:

I went to nursing school because I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives on a more personal basis. People deserve to have someone listen to them, care for them, and advocate for their needs. This was the perfect combination for me! I have some amazing nurses in my family and have always wanted to be like them!
I currently work for OHC at Boston Scientific. While there I am able to help contact individuals about their COVID-19 test results and coordinate follow-up.
How you ended up in occ health: in some of my past careers, I have worked closely with an occupational health nurse. It seemed like a position that combines being a nurse in a variety of settings. I enjoy the flow and variety of opportunities!

How you ended up at OHC:

I was looking for a nursing job that fit into my busy lifestyle. I am currently in a master’s program at Boston College to become a psychiatric nurse practitioner. With school I was looking for a place to gain experience that is also accommodating. OHC is definitely the place to be!
Any lessons learned: ASK QUESTIONS and have fun! There’s always a way to have fun as a nurse!
For fun outside of nursing I spend time with my cats, read, and enjoy the beach and a good margarita
