  • Oversee the overall management of a medium size occupational health clinic (8-12 headcount);

  • Manage staffing levels comprised of MDs, NPs, LPNs, administrative and technical staff

  • Provide coaching feedback to staff on a regular basis.

  • Complete annual performance review appraisals

  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, mentoring/development, engagement, & retention,

  • Attend needed leadership meetings

  • Manages daily Clinic operations, appointment scheduling workflows, staff work schedules, bi-weekly time card reconciliation

  • Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition.

  • Monitors and manages appropriate key business and clinical metrics (i.e. cost per encounters, coding and documentation and other metrics,

  • Understand and comply with all JCAHO, CMS, DPH regulatory, procedural, policy and State licensing requirements

  • Manages internal budget justifications, reviews expenses, purchases supplies, inventories equipment, medication etc. where appropriate

  • Identify and manage continuous process improvement initiatives for scheduling, billing, and responsible to improve patient/client satisfaction


  • BA required in health care administration/management or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years’ work experience working in an Outpatient Clinic, with at least 3 years of direct management experience managing staff.

  • Very good financial management, budgeting and forecasting experience

  • Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point)

  • Demonstrated problem solving and work flow management skills

  • Strong collaborative team building skills and the ability to work with multiple departments and teams to meet the goals set forth by corporate leadership.

  • Outstanding professional demeanor

  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks and work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment,

  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, develop a plan of action to improve, implement and evaluate plan effectively

  • Ability to resolve colleague, client and patient issues in an effective and timely manner.
